Rachel Boyer

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 30 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Rachel. I became a speech-language pathologist because I’m passionate about helping individuals overcome communication challenges and find meaningful ways to express themselves. Building lasting relationships with clients and families and celebrating their progress along the way is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My clinical experience spans a variety of settings, where I’ve supported clients across the lifespan. I’m trained in evidence-based augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) approaches, including Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP) and the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS). I use individualized AAC strategies to support functional communication, develop expressive language skills, increase independence, and give individuals meaningful opportunities to express their wants, needs, thoughts, and ideas across everyday environments.

My therapy approach is functional, individualized, and focused on helping each client communicate as independently and effectively as possible. I strive to create supportive opportunities for clients to use their communication skills in ways that are meaningful to them and carry over into daily life.
