Olivia Avila

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 22 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Olivia. I was inspired to pursue speech-language pathology through my early experiences studying Deaf Studies and learning about the field from a family member. I was immediately drawn to the seamless blend of science, creativity, and human connection, and I feel privileged to help children find their unique voice.

Throughout my career, I have supported pediatric populations across a variety of clinical and educational settings. My experience includes working with children facing a wide range of speech and language challenges. I focus on delivering holistic, routines-based care that builds on each child's unique strengths. By actively involving parents and caregivers in the process, I ensure therapy fits naturally into daily life to foster functional communication, self-advocacy, and long-term empowerment.

To provide high-quality, evidence-based care, I continuously expand my clinical knowledge through specialized continuing education. My professional development includes coursework in auditory processing disorder treatment, teletherapy strategies for school-age students, and family counseling for children with communication disorders.
