Lindsay Kristensen

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.A., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 22 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Lindsay. I became a speech-language pathologist (SLP) because I’ve always had a heart for working with children and helping them grow. I love supporting kids as they build confidence, make progress, and find their voice. Being part of their journey—whether celebrating big milestones or small everyday wins—is what makes this work so meaningful to me. I also value building strong relationships with families so they feel supported and empowered to help their children succeed.

I’ve worked in both early intervention and school-based settings, supporting children with a wide range of speech and language needs. These experiences have helped me develop a flexible, collaborative approach focused on functional communication and meaningful progress within everyday routines and environments.

I have extensive experience working with children ages 18 months to 12 years old across many stages of development. I’m passionate about continuing education and regularly participate in trainings, seminars, and professional development courses to stay current with evidence-based practices and bring effective, engaging strategies into therapy sessions.

My therapy approach is highly individualized, strengths-based, routines-based, and family-focused. I prioritize functional communication, supportive relationships, and meaningful everyday connections while helping children build confidence and communication skills in ways that feel natural and motivating.

Other interests

Outside of therapy, my favorite role is being a mom to my three girls; they definitely keep me busy and on my toes. You’ll often find me on the sidelines at their soccer games or activities, cheering them on. I also love watching sports (Go Dodgers!), spending quality time with family, and heading to the beach whenever I can!
