Kristen McNiff

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 11 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Kristen. I became a speech-language pathologist because I am passionate about helping people communicate and connect with the world around them. Communication shapes every part of daily life, and supporting individuals as they build skills, gain confidence, and achieve goals that matter to them and their families is deeply rewarding.

My clinical experience spans acute care, rehabilitation, and pediatric settings, allowing me to care for both medically complex adults and children with diverse speech, language, and swallowing needs. My therapy approach is holistic, strength-based, and routines-based. I prioritize client-centered and family-centered care, ensuring families and interdisciplinary teams are actively involved to support functional communication and enhance overall quality of life.

I am committed to advanced, evidence-based care through continuous specialized training. My technical expertise includes VitalStim Therapy for dysphagia, Passy Muir Valve management for tracheostomized and ventilator-dependent individuals, and foundational training in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), including implementation and use of Dynavox communication systems.
