Kathryn Dennis

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.A., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 39 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Kathryn, a speech-language pathologist (SLP) who believes communication is a fundamental part of being human. I love helping children and adults strengthen their communication skills in ways that feel meaningful, supportive, and empowering. Seeing clients grow in confidence and connection is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

I have experience working across a variety of settings, including public and online schools, hospitals, outpatient clinics, telehealth, and nursing homes. My clinical interests include articulation, apraxia, language development, ADHD, learning differences, literacy, and cognitive-communication support. I especially enjoy collaborating with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to help clients succeed in everyday life.

Throughout my career, I’ve completed continuing education in areas such as speech sound disorders, language and literacy development, ADHD, learning disabilities, psychology, ethics, and sensory integration strategies. I’m passionate about making therapy creative, engaging, and individualized to each person’s strengths and goals.

My therapy approach is client-centered, functional, and strengths-based. I incorporate sensory-informed strategies and prioritize family involvement to help clients build confidence, independence, and self-advocacy skills that carry over beyond therapy sessions.
