Kathleen Creel
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)
Hi! I’m Kathleen. I became a speech therapist because it unites my lifelong passion for voice and singing with my desire to work in a helping profession. From an early age, I was drawn to the power of the human voice. In college, I knew I wanted to major in a field centered on helping others, but I also didn’t want to leave behind my love for vocal performance and the science of sound. Speech therapy became the perfect bridge between these two passions. I am passionate about helping others communicate clearly and effectively. Being able to empower someone to express themselves and be understood is both meaningful and inspiring to me.
I have completed advanced training in PROMPT and the SOS Feeding Approach. I am also certified in the Hanen Program, It Takes Two to Talk. My clinical experience spans diverse settings, including early intervention, private practice, and schools.
I take a highly individualized approach to therapy by prioritizing family involvement and functional outcomes to help each individual build confidence, independence, and lifelong self-advocacy skills.
