Jillian Korb

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 16 insurance plans

Hi! I'm Jillian, a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP). I was always interested in working in healthcare. When I was in high school, my mom, who is now a retired nurse, set me up to do some shadowing at a local community hospital. I got to observe all different types of therapy, but once I saw the impact of speech therapy, I knew that was what I wanted to do.

I am passionate about communication disorders across the lifespan, and I am also passionate about family and caregiver training. I have worked in settings such as acute care, outpatient, acute rehab, university, and home health. I have extensive education in swallowing disorders, both assessment and treatment. I also have extensive training in brain injury, stroke recovery, and communication and swallowing disorders for cancer rehabilitation. I would describe my clinical style as holistic, client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, family-centric, and rooted in client empowerment to create self-advocates.
