Amber Mahmood

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 5 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Amber. I became a speech-language pathologist because I’ve seen how deeply communication can shape a child’s everyday life—from learning and friendships to confidence at home and school. I love helping children find meaningful ways to express themselves, connect with others, and feel understood.

My clinical experience spans a variety of settings, where I’ve supported individuals with diverse communication needs. I’m committed to lifelong learning and staying current with evidence-based practices so I can provide thoughtful, individualized care that reflects each client’s unique needs and goals.

My therapy approach is functional, highly individualized, and strengths-based. I believe in family-centered care and routines-based strategies that help communication skills carry over into everyday life. I focus on meaningful goals that build on each client’s abilities while creating a supportive environment where they can develop confidence, strengthen communication skills, and participate more fully at home, at school, and in their community.
