Brittany Freedman
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)
Hi! I’m Brittany. I became a speech-language pathologist after watching my grandmother lose her ability to communicate due to dementia, which showed me how essential communication is to connection, identity, and quality of life. That experience inspired me to dedicate my career to helping children and families build meaningful ways to connect with one another.
My clinical background spans a variety of pediatric settings, supporting children with diverse speech, language, and communication needs. My therapy approach is holistic, functional, strengths-based, and routines-based. I prioritize individualized, client- and family-centered care, working closely with caregivers to foster self-advocacy, confidence, and long-term empowerment.
I am deeply committed to evidence-based practice and specialized learning, with a focus on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and autism spectrum disorders. Passionate about community education, I have developed and facilitated district-wide parent trainings on AAC implementation, guest-lectured at a local college on school-based speech pathology, and spoken on a professional podcast discussing interdisciplinary collaboration between SLPs and ABA providers for complex communication needs.
