Ashley Wilson
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)
I became a speech-language pathologist after seeing several people close to me benefit from speech therapy during an important season of my life. From a family friend with Down syndrome, to my cousin with a cleft palate, to my grandmother receiving voice therapy for Parkinson’s disease, I saw firsthand how meaningful communication support can be across the lifespan.
Since then, I’ve been passionate about helping individuals regain confidence, independence, and quality of life through personalized care. My clinical experience includes inpatient rehabilitation, home health, and school-based telehealth services. I have specialized training in MBSS and FEES swallow studies and have supervised clinicians learning to perform FEES. I am also certified through the Lingraphica program, supporting adults with aphasia in accessing and using high-tech AAC devices.
I enjoy working with adults with neurological conditions, including stroke, aphasia, Parkinson’s disease, and dysphagia, and I value providing education and support to both clients and families. I have also facilitated stroke education and aphasia support groups within the community.
My therapy approach is client-centered, functional, individualized, and family-focused, with an emphasis on empowerment and self-advocacy.

My son has been in speech therapy for a while, so we’ve had experience with different therapists in the past. Ashley is his new therapist, and even though he has only seen her a few times so far, she has already made such a positive impression. She is always patient, supportive, and knows how to challenge him in the right ways. Ashley really understands how to connect with my son and make sessions engaging for him. I often find myself smiling while listening because he genuinely has such a great time working with her. We’re very happy with the care and energy she brings to each session and look forward to continuing therapy with her.

The whole process was so simple to navigate. Being able to to this virtually was a bigger bonus, and having exercise material between sessions to work with my child was so helpful! Our therapist was absolutely amazing and my daughter loved working with her!

Ashley was very friendly and personable, and she was very understanding of the struggles that I've been having with my speech issues, even ones that I could not fully articulate.
