About me
Hi! I'm Ashley. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) due to my desire to pursue a field where I could actively serve others on a daily basis. After shadowing and gaining insight from family and close friends who were practicing SLPs, I immediately knew this was the career for me. Considering my life is uniquely fulfilled by the ability to communicate with others, I was eager to pursue a career where I could help others maintain or rehabilitate lost skills in the many areas within our scope of practice. Further, I desired to learn how to implement skilled clinical expertise to help others meet their communication goals. So what better field to pursue than speech-language pathology!? Since then, I have developed a strong passion for helping others find their voice, communicate meaningfully with others, and improve their quality of life through speech therapy services. I've received training in Diagnosis and Treatment of CAS - Using Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC). I've worked in settings such as early intervention, schools, and private practice. I would describe my clinical style as client-centered, functional, family-centric, routines-based, and strengths-based.

We just love Ashley! She is very flexible and adaptive. [My child] sometimes has a hard time focusing and Ashley is always willing to roll with [their] vibe and interests.

I was wary of virtual therapy for my 3 year old. But the therapist kept her attention, was very informative, and the at-home practice seems to be a great tool.

Ms Ashley is an awesome therapist. My son enjoys his session with her and vice versa. She teaches him the concepts, makes him understand, gives him enough activities to familiarize. Her goal plan is clear and her work towards it wonderful. On the whole my son is having good and fun filled learning and development time. Thank you Ms Ashley. Also Expressable is super easy to contact, start with and work with. The process aren’t much complicated or time taking.

I can’t say enough good things about Ashley!! From the very first session, I could tell how much she genuinely cares about her patients and how passionate she is about helping them succeed. She created a warm and welcoming environment that made me feel really comfortable and at ease. Ashley is not only highly knowledgeable and skilled, but also incredibly patient and attentive to individual needs. She took the time to tailor each session to address areas for improvement, using lots of creative and engaging techniques. The encouragement and positive reinforcement she gave me has been really motivating! I would highly, highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking for an SLP who truly goes above and beyond with their clients.

I felt very comfortable with Ashley, and she took me through some exercises that I did not know would help identify my areas of improvement. It was unique and helpful.
