Hi, I’m Aleisha! I became a speech-language pathologist because I’ve always been fascinated by the complex ways we think, communicate, eat, and connect with others. Once I discovered speech-language pathology, I knew it was the perfect blend of science, lifelong learning, and meaningful human connection.
I’ve worked across a wide range of settings, including acute care hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, schools, and leadership roles in SLP administration. These experiences have allowed me to support clients with diverse communication, cognitive, voice, and swallowing needs across the lifespan.
I’ve completed specialized training in tracheostomy and ventilation, FEES, MBSS, Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT), and Basic Life Support CPR. I’ve also taught graduate-level courses in diagnostic methods, clinical practicum, and SLPA supervision, which has strengthened my passion for mentorship and evidence-based care.
I believe therapy works best as a partnership. My approach is holistic, functional, and client-centered, with an emphasis on collaboration, empowerment, and helping clients build skills they can confidently use in everyday life.

Everything went well for my son. He did so good with Aleisha she is one in a million. She is terrific with him. He has had several SLP's in his life that have helped him but I have never seen him interact with someone like he does Aleisha. She did a great job and made him feel comfortable which is difficult for him but somehow she got him through and he enjoyed it. I am so grateful to have Expressable for him. I have recommended them to others I know.

Every session that Aleisha does with my son goes quite well. She can gets so many things from him in such a little amount of time. He is very comfortable with her which is not easy for him at all. We just adore her she is so easy to talk to as a mom and my son looks forward to his sessions. She is one in a million.
