Chelsea Magovney

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.A., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 25 insurance plans

Hi, I’m Chelsea! I became a speech-language pathologist because I believe communication is a fundamental human right. For the past seven years, I’ve dedicated my career to pediatric speech and language, with a special focus on early intervention and working closely alongside parents and caregivers.

I’ve worked across pediatric outpatient clinics, private practice, school, home, and daycare settings, supporting children with a wide range of speech and language needs. I’ve also had the opportunity to train colleagues in electronic health record (EHR) systems and serve as a Clinical Supervisor, leading teams of therapists who share a passion for family-centered care.

These experiences have shaped my therapy approach to be holistic, client-centered, routines-based, and individualized. I believe the most meaningful progress happens when therapy fits naturally into everyday life, which is why I place a strong emphasis on parent coaching—equipping families with strategies they can use beyond the therapy session.

I’m especially passionate about partnering with families and caregivers, because I know communication growth is strongest when support continues in real-world routines and relationships. My goal is to help children build confidence, strengthen their communication skills, and feel empowered to connect with the people who matter most to them.
