Hi! I’m Victoria. I became a speech-language pathologist because I’ve always been drawn to the power of communication and how it shapes identity, relationships, and autonomy. I believe being able to express yourself and feel understood is foundational to human dignity. As both a clinician and a musician, I’ve seen how voice and communication influence confidence and connection. I was inspired to enter this field to help individuals navigate challenges that affect their ability to speak, express, or engage with others. For me, speech therapy is not just about improving skills, it’s about empowering people to participate fully in their lives.

My clinical experience spans diverse settings, including inpatient psychiatric facilities, outpatient rehabilitation, and private practice. I am currently pursuing my ATP certification and have completed over 1,000 hours providing AAC direct treatment. Additionally, I have completed the Feed the Peds pediatric feeding course and am safety care certified with training in trauma-informed behavioral de-escalation techniques. I am trained in classical singing and have experience providing resonant voice therapy with additional clinical experience in voice disorders, AAC, and accent modification. This experience has allowed me to support a wide range of communication needs.

My clinical approach is trauma-informed, highly individualized, holistic, and client-centered, with an emphasis on sensory integration strategies to support regulation and engagement. I incorporate routines-based practices to promote meaningful carryover and prioritize family involvement, strengths-based care, and functional outcomes. My goal is to empower each person to build confidence, independence, and lifelong self-advocacy skills.
