Veronica Gonzales

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 26 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Veronica. I’ve always known I wanted to work with children in the medical field, but I found my true passion in speech-language pathology. As a non-native English speaker who moved to the United States at 17, I understand what it feels like to lack confidence in communication. That experience inspires me to help others find their voice, communicate with confidence, and improve their quality of life in whatever way works best for them.

My clinical experience spans school-based, outpatient, and telepractice settings, where I’ve supported children with a wide range of communication needs. I’m especially passionate about working with autistic individuals and using multimodal communication approaches, including sign language and AAC, to help every child communicate in ways that are meaningful and effective for them.

I’m committed to lifelong learning and regularly pursue continuing education in evidence-based practice. My professional development includes training in Gestalt Language Processing through Meaningful Speech, the ICDL DIRFloortime®framework, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), with experience using systems such as TouchChat, Proloquo2Go, and TD Snap.

My therapy approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and highly individualized. I incorporate sensory strategies to support regulation while focusing on functional, meaningful communication goals. By creating a supportive, empowering environment, I help children build confidence, independence, and lasting communication skills using the communication methods that work best for them.
