About me

Hi! I’m Tyanna. I became a speech-language pathologist because I believe communication is a fundamental human right and looks different for every individual. My work is rooted in a neurodiversity-affirming approach that honors each person’s strengths, identity, and preferred ways of communicating. As an SLP, I am passionate about providing evidence-based, collaborative care across the lifespan, supporting individuals in building functional, meaningful communication that enhances autonomy, connection, and quality of life. My clinical experience spans diverse settings, including early intervention, acute care, and private practice. I approach therapy with a client-centered and functional style. I incorporate routines-based practices to support meaningful carryover, and I prioritize family involvement and client empowerment to help each person build confidence, independence, and lifelong self-advocacy skills.

Outside of work, I value slowing down and staying connected to the people and routines that bring balance to my life. I enjoy spending time with family, reading, and caring for my physical and mental well-being through Pilates and yoga. You’ll often find me walking my dog or exploring local Atlanta restaurants.
