Tasha Taylor
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.A., CCC-SLP)
Hi, I’m Tasha! My path to speech-language pathology began at St. Cloud State University, where conversations about African American English and communication in autism sparked questions that led me deeper into the field. I later attended University of Kansas, participating in the Communication and Autism Project while earning my MA in Communicative Disorders. I’ve always known I wanted to teach and support others, and being an SLP allows me to do that in meaningful, one-on-one ways.
I have experience treating individuals across the lifespan in a variety of settings, including schools, inpatient rehab, outpatient clinics, SNFs, teletherapy, home health, and early childhood programs. In 2020, I earned my Doctorate of Speech-Language Pathology. My clinical interests include autism, AAC and speech-generating devices, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and neurologically based disorders. I continue to pursue advanced training and professional development to provide evidence-based, compassionate care tailored to each client’s needs.
My therapy style is holistic, functional, and highly individualized. I value family collaboration, strengths-based support, and empowering clients to build confidence, independence, and meaningful communication skills.

Tasha showed patience with my mom. I was concerned about the fact that the therapy was virtual and that my mom wouldn’t be as engaged as she would need to be or experience any real improvement but the first evaluation removed those fears.
