Tania Skipper

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.A., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 26 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Tania. I became a speech-language pathologist because I wanted a career where I could make a meaningful difference in people’s lives every day. I’m passionate about helping individuals build the communication skills and confidence they need to connect with others, participate fully in daily life, and reach their goals.

My clinical experience spans a variety of settings, where I’ve supported children with diverse communication needs. I’ve earned multiple certificates in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) assessment and implementation, strengthening my skills in conducting AAC evaluations, recommending communication systems, implementing AAC supports, and training families and educational staff. I’m also committed to ongoing professional development in areas including speech sound disorders, language intervention, social communication, and school-based service delivery to ensure my care reflects current evidence and each child’s unique needs.

My therapy approach is client-centered, family-centered, and highly individualized. I focus on functional goals that support meaningful engagement and participation while building on each child’s strengths. I strive to create a supportive environment where every child can strengthen their communication skills, grow in confidence, connect with others, and participate more fully in everyday life.
