About me

Hi! I’m Stephany. I became a pediatric speech-language pathologist because I know firsthand how powerful communication can be. When I first started school, some teachers mistook my bilingualism for a language delay. It was a speech-language pathologist who stepped in, recognized my strengths, and helped others see my true potential. I’ll never forget the impact she had on my life. That moment planted the seed for my future. One where I now have the privilege of helping children find their voices, build confidence, and unlock the same doors that were once opened for me. I have experience working with neurodiverse pediatric populations, including children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). I provide therapy in both English and Spanish, supporting children and families from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. My approach is rooted in understanding the unique ways each child learns, communicates, and connects, with the goal of empowering them to reach their fullest potential through individualized, compassionate care. By integrating routines-based and sensory-integration-informed practices, I focus on supporting meaningful carryover of skills into daily life. I also prioritize family involvement, strengths-based strategies, and functional outcomes, helping each child build confidence, independence, and effective communication skills.
