Sierra Weir

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.A., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 23 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Sierra. I became a speech-language pathologist because of my lifelong passion for linguistics and my own experience with Eagle syndrome, a rare congenital condition that affected my speech, voice, and swallowing. The compassionate care I received inspired me to help others facing communication challenges. I’m especially passionate about supporting individuals with autism and those recovering from brain injuries, as both have personally touched the lives of my loved ones.

My clinical experience spans a variety of settings, where I’ve supported children with a wide range of communication needs. I enjoy creating individualized therapy plans that build on each child’s strengths and help them develop the skills they need to communicate confidently in everyday life.

I’m committed to lifelong learning and regularly pursue continuing education in evidence-based practice. My professional development includes ongoing training in language, speech sound disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, voice, feeding, swallowing, and other specialized areas, allowing me to provide well-rounded, evidence-based care.

My therapy approach is dynamic, holistic, and highly individualized. I believe in client-centered, family-centered care that builds on each child's strengths while incorporating routines-based and sensory strategies to support engagement and carryover into everyday life. My goal is to empower every child to build confidence, gain independence, and develop meaningful communication skills that help them thrive.
