Shelley Chow
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.A., CCC-SLP)
Hi, I’m Shelley! My path to becoming a speech-language pathologist began with two lifelong passions: healthcare and language. Growing up as a trilingual child and navigating my own chronic health conditions sparked my interest in how people communicate, connect, and advocate for themselves. Once I discovered speech-language pathology, everything clicked.
I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, outpatient clinics, and schools, supporting children and families with a wide range of communication needs. My clinical interests include neurodiversity-affirming care, sensory regulation, and supporting autistic individuals through functional, strengths-based therapy.
Additionally, I’ve completed specialized training in neurodiversity-affirming practices, trauma-informed care, sensory regulation and its impact on communication, and assessment and treatment approaches for autistic individuals.
I take a holistic, client-centered, and family-focused approach to care. I believe therapy works best when it’s individualized, meaningful, and connected to a child’s daily routines and interests. My goal is to help clients build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and become empowered self-advocates.

Shelley Chow was incredible! From the moment she met with my son she was very energetic and learning about his speech difficulties. I saw improvement after the fourth class already. Having twice a week in the beginning was the key. The overall communication was very clear, easy and on going. I would recommend Expressable to anybody in need of speech therapy. I didn’t believe that virtual guidance can work and so well. Thank you !

Our speech therapist is wonderfully motivating. Even after months of practice and ups and downs she still comes up with small new exercises that make my son want to continue. Also when our circumstances changed and we had to change the day and time of the therapy sessions, she was flexible and found a time that worked for all of us.

Ms.Chow is amazing. She is able to help my son identify where his issues are and help him transition with his speech.

Shelley is incredible. I truly appreciate her breaking down how our son learns and why his language pattern is the way it is. Thank you Shelley!
