About me
Hi! I’m Shauna. I became a speech-language pathologist based on a lifelong calling to the healthcare professions and a desire to make a meaningful, human-centered impact. Speech therapy drew me in because it offers the opportunity to specialize in a vital area of care while still working with individuals across a wide range of ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Throughout my training and practice, I have witnessed firsthand how essential communication is to the human experience—shaping relationships, independence, and quality of life. Supporting individuals as they strengthen their ability to communicate is both a privilege and a responsibility that continues to inspire my work every day. My clinical experience spans the pediatric outpatient and elementary school settings. Additionally, I am in the process of completing the LSVT LOUD! certification. I approach therapy with a client-centered, functional, and highly individualized style, helping each person build confidence, independence, and lifelong self-advocacy skills.

Other interests
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and creative. You’ll often find me running (currently training for a marathon in 2026), practicing yoga, or cycling. In my quieter moments, I love reading and sipping tea, often with music by Harry Styles or Taylor Swift in the background.
