Hi! I’m Shannon. I became a speech-language pathologist (SLP) because I have always felt called to work with children and families in a way that creates lasting impact. Communication is at the heart of connection, learning, and confidence, and I believe deeply that everyone deserves a voice. There is nothing more rewarding than helping a child say their first word, express their needs, or feel understood for the first time. Working together with families and caregivers through that journey, offering tools and strategies to empower them with hope and real-life progress has been awesome thus far!

My clinical experience spans diverse settings, including outpatient pediatric rehabilitation, early intervention, and public schools. I really enjoy play-based speech therapy where language concepts and articulation can easily be embedded into everyday routines and play schemes naturally. During my time in the public schools, I presented a professional development for colleagues on AAC, providing information on assessment, implementation, and generalization across disciplines.

I take a client-centered and highly individualized approach to therapy. I prioritize family involvement to support meaningful carryover into everyday life.
