About me

Hi! I'm Sarah. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2014. I became an SLP because I found how babies learn language to be so fascinating. When I took a Language Acquisition course as a prerequisite course for a Master's program, I knew I wanted to be an SLP. I am also passionate about literature and literacy and thought that would blend really well with my desire to work with children. I have worked in the school, in-home, private practice, and telehealth settings. I am certified in Beckman Oral Motor, PROMPT and have received training in the SOS approach to feeding and myofunctional therapy. I would describe my clinical style as holistic, client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, and family-centric, with a focus on sensory integration.

I couldn’t have been happier with my son’s evaluation. Sarah, the speech pathologist, discovered things that 3 different local speech pathologists didn’t notice. She was very detailed, kind, and knowledgeable. I am looking forward to seeing the progress my son makes with future sessions!

I absolutely love working with Sarah in this program. Her approach is very warm and accommodating, and at the same time she promotes accountability and provides excellent objective feedback. She is always clear in recognizing my successes and her criticism is always highly constructive. I am recognizing the benefits of working with her each day.

Very productive and comfortable session. Sarah is extremely observant and flexible in her approach while still challenging my abilities to improve.

S.F./Sep 2, 2023

Sarah has been great and although the sessions are virtual, they are engaging and my six year old enjoys the games and activities related to his goals rather than just talking about strategies
