About me

Hi! I'm Sara. I became a speech-language pathologist (SLP) because I believe everyone has a voice and deserves to be heard. It is my mission to enable each of my clients to communicate in a way that makes sense to them and allows them to share their thoughts and feelings with the world. I have worked in clinical settings such as private practice pediatrics. During my time as an SLP, I have trained three Clinical Fellows and oversaw their growth to become licensed speech-language pathologists. I would describe my clinical style as holistic, client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, family-centric, and sensory integrated.

Other interests

As an SLP, I enjoy working with patients to help them achieve their therapeutic goals and improve communication. But outside of my professional life, I am a total creative person at heart. I have a real appreciation for the arts, and my favorite hobbies all reflect that! Some of my go-to creative pursuits are floral arranging, reading, and baking. Also, I really enjoy working and having a good time with my hands, so I also like doing puzzles. In my extra free time, you can usually find me hanging out at Disney World or kayaking around the natural beauty of the waters throughout Florida! I love my job, of course, but it's amazing to get to balance it with these other amazing parts of my life!
