Hi! I’m Sandy. I became a speech-language pathologist because I wanted to improve lives by giving people the tools to express themselves, communicate effectively, and live more connected lives. Empowering clients to share their unique voices and navigate the world with confidence is what inspires me every day.

My clinical experience spans a variety of pediatric settings, where I support children with diverse speech, language, and complex communication needs. My therapy approach is individualized, functional, and strengths-based. I prioritize active partnership with caregivers to integrate practical strategies into daily routines, fostering functional communication, self-advocacy, and long-term empowerment.

I am deeply committed to clinical excellence, evidence-based care, and continuous professional growth. I am certified in Compton PESL (Pronouncing English as a Second Language) for accent modification, helping clients refine their personal and professional communication. Additionally, I am trained in the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS®), providing specialized support for non-speaking and minimally speaking clients to build functional communication skills.
