About me
Hello! I'm Ranae. I love being a speech-language pathologist (SLP) because I have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages with a variety of diagnoses and abilities. I love being able to tailor varying therapy approaches to meet the individualized needs of each patient. I have worked in settings such as outpatient, early intervention, teletherapy (school-based), and school-based ESY (in-person). I received the ACE award for continuing education through ASHA for completing 70 hours of continuing education over my last certification period (2021-2023). I am trained in Talk Tools - Oral Placement Therapy Level 1 Course and NeuroDevelopmental Treatment: Contemporary Practice Model (NDT-CPM). I would describe my clinical style as client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, family-centric, routines-based, strengths-based, sensory integrated, and rooted in client empowerment to create self-advocates.

I love Expressable speech and Ranae. My grandson has autism and can be hard to communicate with. Mrs Ranae always keeps him on track. We homeschool, so virtual speech works great with our schedule.
