Patricia Nojiri

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.A., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 12 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Patricia. I became a speech-language pathologist to help individuals achieve their highest potential in communication and daily functioning. I was drawn to the field because it combines evidence-based practice with meaningful, person-centered care, allowing me to apply clinical expertise while making a direct impact on quality of life. The ability to help clients develop functional communication skills, foster independence, and build stronger connections with others has been motivating and rewarding.

I have specialized training in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), pediatric dysphagia management, and autism spectrum disorder interventions. In addition, I have training in PROMPT therapy, the DIR Floortime Therapy Model, and the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding. These trainings allow me to deliver interventions that support functional communication, motor planning, social-emotional development, and safe feeding skills across diverse pediatric populations.

I have provided therapy in schools, outpatient clinics, sensory gyms, and assisted living facilities. My approach is holistic and client-centered, focusing on meaningful goals that empower people to participate confidently in their daily life. I integrate family involvement, routines-based strategies, and a strengths-based perspective to support lasting progress. When needed, I incorporate sensory integration techniques to promote regulation and engagement during sessions. My practice is also neurodiversity-affirming, honoring each client’s unique communication style and needs.
