About me

Hi! I’m Nathalia. As a fluent English–Spanish speaker, I became an SLP to help bridge the gap in access to inclusive, high-quality communication services for individuals from minority and bilingual communities. I have experience supporting children with a wide range of diagnoses, including Autism, Down syndrome, intellectual disabilities, sensory processing disorders, global developmental delays, articulation and phonological disorders, and language disorders. I am passionate about ensuring the families I work with feel empowered and have access to culturally responsive bilingual speech therapy. I have completed specialized coursework in Gestalt Language Processing and hold a certification in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). I have also completed training specific to traumatic brain injury (TBI) in primary care settings. These areas of study have strengthened my ability to support diverse communicators and provide informed, evidence-based intervention across a range of needs. My clinical experience spans diverse settings, including private practice, home health, and schools. I approach therapy with a client-centered, functional, and highly individualized style. I incorporate sensory integration strategies to support regulation and engagement, and I prioritize family involvement, strengths-based practices, and client empowerment to help each person build confidence, independence, and lifelong self-advocacy skills.
