Micaela Robinson
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)
Hi! I’m Micaela. My journey into therapy began with a simple but life-changing connection. After meeting a man and communicating with him through sign language, I discovered the profound impact that communication can have on a person’s life. That experience sparked a deep passion in me, not just to help others speak or be understood, but to ensure every individual has a voice, no matter how they communicate. I became a therapist to support, encourage, and empower individuals and families through compassionate, personalized care. Helping clients grow in confidence and independence is what motivates me every day.
I have completed advanced training in PROMPT (Levels I and II) and VitalStim. I have also completed coursework in articulation, including “Successful R Therapy” by Pam Marshalla. I am currently expanding my clinical expertise through ongoing coursework in the Complexity Approach, phonological assessment and analysis, and targeting complex sounds in treatment. In addition, I am completing advanced training in language therapy through courses by Dr. Karen Dudek-Brannan.
My clinical experience spans both outpatient and school-based settings. I take a client-centered, functional, and highly individualized approach to therapy. I incorporate routines-based practices to support meaningful carryover and prioritize family involvement to help each individual build confidence, independence, and lifelong self-advocacy skills.
