Maryrose Seno

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.A., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 5 insurance plans

Hi, I’m Maryrose! I became a speech-language pathologist because I was intrigued by how this field encompasses everything I am interested in---English, psychology, education, medicine, and more. Before entering college, I had also always worked with children in the schools, as a camp counselor and babysitter, so the field of speech-language pathology seemed like a perfect path for me.

I’ve worked across a variety of settings, including schools, home health, and early intervention, supporting individuals with a wide range of communication needs. These experiences have strengthened my collaborative approach to working with families and interdisciplinary teams while deepening my passion for individualized, culturally responsive care. I’ve also completed specialized training in the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Diploma Course, as well as additional training in early intervention services.

My therapy approach is highly individualized, client-centered, and strengths-based. I incorporate routines-based practices to promote meaningful carryover and prioritize family involvement, functional outcomes, and meaningful connections to everyday life. My goal is to help each person build confidence, independence, and lifelong self-advocacy skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
