Hi! I’m Madeline. My youngest sister used a communication device and received speech therapy throughout her childhood — watching her navigate the world and watching our family learn to meet her where she was made me realize I’d already been doing this work informally my whole life. Becoming an SLP felt less like a career choice and more like finally having language for something I was meant to do.

My clinical background spans individuals across the lifespan in diverse healthcare and community settings, supporting both children and adults with complex speech, language, cognitive, and communication needs. My therapy approach is holistic, family-centric, individualized, and sensory-integrated. Grounded in strengths-based and routines-based practices, I partner closely with clients and caregivers to build practical strategies that foster lasting confidence, self-advocacy, and daily empowerment.

I am deeply committed to clinical excellence, evidence-based care, and continuous professional development. I hold the Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Profile (MBSImP™) certification for swallowing assessment and recently earned ASHA’s Award for Continuing Education (ACE), reflecting over 70 hours of advanced clinical study in complex communication and swallowing care.

Other interests

I write, hike, and backpack when I can — and occasionally emcee for a local music organization hosting live events. My two dogs are also a significant time commitment, which I say with zero complaints.
