Macie Mitchell

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 13 insurance plans

Hi, I’m Macie! I became a speech-language pathologist (SLP) because I’ve always had a passion for helping people in ways that meaningfully improve their daily lives. Communication affects confidence, relationships, and independence, and I love supporting individuals as they build the skills they need to express themselves and connect with others.

I’ve worked across a variety of settings, including brain rehabilitation centers, pediatric private practice, skilled nursing facilities, and elementary schools. These experiences have allowed me to support individuals across the lifespan with diverse communication needs while developing a flexible, compassionate, and collaborative approach to care.

I’m especially passionate about neurorehabilitation, pediatric communication development, and helping clients regain or strengthen functional communication skills. I enjoy partnering closely with families and caregivers to ensure that progress carries over into everyday routines and meaningful real-world interactions.

My therapy approach is holistic, client-centered, and highly individualized, with an emphasis on family involvement, functional outcomes, and supporting communication growth in a way that feels practical, empowering, and sustainable.
