Logan Brown
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.A., CCC-SLP)
About me
Hi! I’m Logan. I received speech therapy for auditory processing disorder throughout elementary school and always thoroughly enjoyed attending sessions. While exploring different careers in high school, I decided to complete an internship with a speech-language pathologist at an elementary school during my senior year. As I learned more, I decided to go to undergrad and grad school for speech-language pathology. The field has enabled me to explore and develop my interests and career goals through clinical experience, continuing education, and research. My favorite part about being a speech-language pathologist is seeing children have fun in their sessions and seeing their progress. To deepen my clinical expertise, I’ve pursued extensive continuing education across language, speech sound disorders, and stuttering intervention. My training includes evidence-based approaches, such as the Cycles Approach and Kaufman Speech to Language Protocol, along with coursework in school-age stuttering therapy, family-centered early intervention, and the evaluation and treatment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). I approach therapy with a client-centered, functional, and highly individualized style. I incorporate routines-based practices to support meaningful carryover, and I prioritize family involvement, strengths-based strategies, and client empowerment to help each person build confidence, independence, and lifelong self-advocacy skills.
