About me

Leanne Sherred, M.S., CCC-SLP, is the Co-Founder, President, and Chief Clinical Officer of Expressable, a national telepractice speech therapy provider. A certified speech-language pathologist, Leanne has treated children and adults across outpatient, home health, and virtual care settings. Throughout her clinical work, she saw firsthand how traditional models often made it difficult for families to access consistent, high-quality care—and to stay engaged between sessions, a critical factor in making progress. Driven to create something better, Leanne helped build Expressable around evidence-based care, family involvement, and expanded access through technology. Today, she leads a team of talented and passionate speech-language pathologists serving thousands of clients nationwide. Leanne’s expertise in communication development has been featured in Parents, Mom.com, New York Family, Tiny Beans, and more. As she puts it: “Communication is how we connect, solve problems, and express who we are. Helping people strengthen that ability is not just a job—it’s a privilege.”
