Lauren Gumpert
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.A., CCC-SLP)
About me
Hi! I’m Lauren. My dad has a stutter and is now the CEO of the Louisiana Hospital Association. I became a therapist because I want to help individuals with communication differences to see themselves beyond their diagnosis and live up to their potential. My clinical experience spans the private practice and school settings. Additionally, I'm a certified Parkinson's SPEAK OUT! provider and have taken extensive coursework in fluency disorders. I approach therapy with a holistic and client-centered style. I prioritize functional outcomes and client empowerment to help each person build confidence, independence, and lifelong self-advocacy skills.
