Lara Arguijo

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 28 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Lara. I became a speech-language pathologist after growing up surrounded by the profession and seeing firsthand the meaningful impact communication can have on a person’s life. Both of my parents are speech therapists, and watching them build relationships, celebrate progress, and help people find their voice inspired me from an early age to follow a similar path.

Through volunteering and observing therapy across a variety of settings, I quickly learned that speech-language pathology is about more than clinical skills—it’s about connection, trust, and helping people communicate with confidence. I’m passionate about supporting individuals as they build skills that help them connect, participate, and thrive in everyday life.

I’ve continued to expand my clinical knowledge through professional development and specialized training, including certifications in NMES and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA). I value lifelong learning and staying current with evidence-based practices to best support the individuals and families I work with.

My therapy approach is client-centered, functional, and highly individualized. I strive to create supportive, collaborative therapy experiences that empower clients while building confidence, independence, and meaningful communication skills.
