Kyera Franklin

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 17 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Kyera. I became a speech-language pathologist because I believe every individual deserves a voice and the opportunity to communicate in ways that are meaningful to them. I’m passionate about helping each client build the skills and confidence they need to connect with others and participate fully in their everyday lives.

My clinical experience spans a variety of settings, where I’ve supported individuals with a wide range of communication needs. I enjoy creating individualized therapy plans that are engaging, functional, and tailored to each child’s unique strengths, goals, and everyday routines.

I’m committed to lifelong learning and regularly pursue continuing education focused on pediatric communication development and evidence-based intervention. Through conferences and specialized trainings, I have expanded my knowledge in areas including tongue ties and their potential impact on feeding and speech, language acquisition and development, early intervention practices, and neurodiversity-affirming care. I’m passionate about continuing to grow my clinical skills so I can provide informed, individualized support to the children and families I serve.

My therapy approach is holistic, client-centered, and functional. I focus on creating meaningful goals that fit naturally into each client’s everyday life while building on their strengths and abilities. I incorporate sensory strategies to support regulation and engagement and collaborate closely with families to encourage carryover beyond the therapy room. My goal is to create a supportive environment where clients can build confidence, develop communication skills, and experience success.
