About me

Hi! I’m Kristen. As a triplet, I grew up sharing everything, including a language that only my siblings and I could understand. At three years old, our conversations made perfect sense to us but not to our parents, who described them as something straight out of Teletubbies. We soon began speech therapy, and over time, our therapist helped us truly find our voices. That experience sparked my lifelong passion for becoming a speech-language pathologist and helping others overcome communication challenges. I am PROMPT Level 1 Certified and have taken additional courses in early intervention, play-based speech therapy, and gestalt language processing. My clinical experience spans a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and private practice. My approach is client-centered, focusing on functional, meaningful goals that empower each individual to communicate and participate confidently in their daily life. I integrate family involvement, routines-based strategies, and a strengths-based perspective to support lasting progress.
