Kirsten Coffey
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)
Hi! I’m Kirsten. I became a speech-language pathologist because I’m passionate about helping people find their voice, both literally and figuratively. I love supporting individuals of all ages as they develop communication skills that empower them in school, work, and everyday life. Seeing someone gain confidence, connect with others, or achieve a personal goal through improved communication is incredibly rewarding, and it’s what continues to inspire me every day in this work.
I have completed specialized training and certifications to enhance my practice, primarily working with pediatric populations. My expertise includes assessment and therapy for childhood apraxia of speech, articulation and phonological disorders, stuttering, early language intervention, and pragmatic/social communication skills. I have also participated in professional workshops focused on evidence-based pediatric interventions and have mentored colleagues in therapy techniques to support communication development.
I approach speech therapy with a functional and highly individualized style, with an emphasis on client empowerment to help each person build confidence, independence, and lifelong self-advocacy skills.

We love Mrs. Kirsten! She is very knowledgeable, steady-paced, and patient all in one! She sees a need each session and works to address it each time we have met together. [My child] is very fond of her and enjoys playing the games and trying his hardest! He has truly benefited from sessions with her. We see the growth and his intentionality with working on specific speech sounds and tongue/lip placement! Thank you, Mrs. Kirsten, for ALL that you do!!!!!
