Kelly Sweany

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 13 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Kelly. When I started out on my career path, my sister worked with adults in a supported living home and knew several speech therapists. She suggested speech-language pathology would be a good fit with my personality. I moved forward with this recommendation and am so glad I did as I love helping students and families be the best they can be!

Clinically, I have experience across schools, home health, and private practice settings, supporting individuals across the lifespan. I’ve had the opportunity to work with diverse populations and communication needs, which has strengthened my ability to provide individualized, functional care. Additionally, I have pursued extensive education around gestalt language processing (GLP), neurodiversity affirming practices, and evidence-based practices in speech pathology.

I approach therapy with a client-centered and functional style. I prioritize strengths-based strategies, and client empowerment, helping each person build confidence, independence, and lifelong self-advocacy skills.
