About me

Hi! I’m Kathryn. I genuinely enjoy working with children and adults, particularly in one-on-one and small group settings. I feel that communication is a fundamental, necessary part of being human, that everyone has a right to do as successfully as possible. Every person communicates in a unique way that can be enhanced and supported. I believe that all learning can be achieved in a creative and fun way. Throughout my career, I have attended many courses related to articulation, apraxia, language development, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, team building, grammar, vocabulary, reading, ethics, business administration, and psychology. I enjoy sharing experiences and knowledge with my colleagues, families, caregivers, and clients. My clinical experience spans a variety of settings, including public and online schools, hospitals, outpatient clinics, telehealth, and nursing homes. I approach therapy with a client-centered, functional, and highly individualized style. I incorporate sensory integration strategies to support regulation and engagement, and I prioritize family involvement, strengths-based practices, and client empowerment to help each person build confidence, independence, and lifelong self-advocacy skills.
