Katherin Oigbokie
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)
About me
Hi! I'm Katherin. I chose to become a speech-language pathologist (SLP) because I’ve always wanted to be in a helping profession. Communication is such a vital part of who we are, and I’m passionate about supporting others in finding their voice and building meaningful connection. I worked in settings such as teletherapy, outpatient, schools, skilled nursing facilities, and home health. I’ve had specialized training in several areas, including PROMPT, Myofunctional Therapy, and Feeding Disorders. These certifications allow me to take a more comprehensive approach to supporting clients with speech, oral-motor, and feeding needs. I would describe my clinical style as holistic, client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, family-centric, sensory integrated, and rooted in client empowerment to create self-advocates.

Other interests
Outside of speech therapy, I love spending time with my family. We enjoy playing games, watching movies, traveling, and trying new experiences together. For me, it’s less about the activity itself and more about creating memories.
