Jennifer Collins

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 26 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Jennifer. During college, I worked at a daycare where I noticed that some children were having difficulty communicating. That experience sparked my passion for helping others find their voice. I had always wanted to become a teacher, and I realized speech-language pathology would allow me to combine my love of teaching with the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

I’ve worked with individuals across outpatient rehabilitation, private practice, and school settings, supporting a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs. I’m passionate about continuing education and staying current with evidence-based practices. I have completed the two-day PLAY Project training and participated in the Autism Preschool Summit, and I am also a founding member of Cari Ebert’s Learning Lounge, where I continue deepening my knowledge of neurodiversity-affirming and child-centered care approaches.

In addition to my clinical work, I have taught at the college level, including a course focused on speech, language, and hearing in the schools. Throughout my career, I have completed numerous professional development trainings related to communication development and family support.

My therapy approach is holistic, highly individualized, and client-centered, with an emphasis on sensory integration, routines-based intervention, and meaningful family involvement. I strive to create strengths-based, functional therapy experiences that help clients build confidence, independence, and self-advocacy skills.
