Hi! I’m Karmen. I’ve always had a deep passion for working with children and their families to give them the tools they need to communicate and connect in the most meaningful way. Empowering individuals to build confidence and share their voice with the world is what inspires my work every single day.

My clinical experience spans individuals across the lifespan in a variety of settings, supporting clients with diverse speech, language, and complex communication needs. My therapy approach is client-centered, individualized, and functional, with a strong emphasis on sensory integration and strengths-based strategies. I actively partner with caregivers and families to weave practical support into daily routines, fostering self-advocacy and long-term empowerment.

I am deeply committed to clinical excellence, evidence-based care, and continuous professional growth. A dedicated researcher and presenter, I have shared insights on clinical supervision at the New Jersey Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NJSHA) Convention and presented doctoral research at the ASHA Convention on interdisciplinary collaboration models between SLPs and classroom teachers.
