About me

Hi! I'm Kaitlyn. My passion for speech-language pathology began with a simple goal: helping others find their voices and build meaningful connections. Today, as an SLP specializing in early childhood, I focus on the foundational ways children communicate—through gestures, eye contact, and sounds. By responding to these earliest attempts at expression, I help families build the trust and connection necessary for a child’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth. My clinical approach is holistic, strengths-based, and deeply rooted in neurodiversity-affirming care. To provide the highest level of support, I earned a Doctorate in Infant and Early Childhood Development with an emphasis in Mental Health and Neurodiversity, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Assistive Technology. Whether utilizing AAC, implementing DIR-Floortime strategies, or supporting sensory-emotional regulation, my work is always individualized and routines-based. Having worked in schools, private practice, and as a presenter to multidisciplinary professionals, I understand the importance of a collaborative, family-centric approach. My ultimate mission is to empower children and their families, providing them with the tools and confidence to become lifelong self-advocates.

Helpful coaching

The SLP was timely and prepared. She started the session with chit chat with my daughter, which is where my daughter needs help. It was casual and engaging for my 11 year old. My daughter is already comfortable with the SLP. My daughter was commenting and joking about tasks presented. I am so glad it seems like a good fit from the start.

Kaitlyn is phenomenal! During the last two sessions she was able to pull the correct sounds from (my daughter) that I really was not sure if she could make! We are very encouraged by these results! Now it will just be a matter of (my daughter) consistently making these sounds and creating a habit of making these correct enunciations over the incorrect enunciations that she is used to making. Kaitlyn is AMAZING!!! She is very talented at what she does!!
