Hi! I’m Josephine, a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP). I dedicate my work as an SLP to my mother, Myrna Bartolome, who inspired me to pursue this field before she passed away in 2021. Her encouragement sparked a passion for helping others communicate with confidence and connection, and that passion continues to guide my work every day.
I have experience supporting children and adults with a wide range of communication needs in private practice settings. My clinical interests include autism, articulation and phonological disorders, early intervention, preschool and school-age language disorders, fluency, and adult aphasia. I care deeply about supporting each client’s communication skills while also nurturing their social and emotional well-being.
My therapy approach is holistic, individualized, and family-centered. I strive to create sessions that are engaging, supportive, and strengths-based while empowering clients to become confident self-advocates. I also incorporate sensory-integrated and functional strategies to help therapy feel meaningful and successful in everyday life.
