Jordan Palumbo
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)
About me
Hi! I’m Jordan. I became a speech-language pathologist (SLP) because I am passionate about supporting individuals and meeting them where they are in life. I was always interested in the medical field but wanted to be able to form deeper, long lasting connections with patients and their families. Speech therapy has challenged me to grow academically, professionally, and even personally. I have experience providing state-certified trainings to daycare teachers on communication and its impact on behavior, as well as presenting summaries from specialized courses I’ve completed, including pediatric dysphagia and Gestalt Language Processing (GLP). I have also led meetings and trainings to share these insights with colleagues. Clinically, I have worked in a variety of pediatric settings, including mobile and in-clinic private practice, as well as hybrid teletherapy models. I would describe my approach as client-centered and functional, with individualized strategies that incorporate sensory integration to meet each child’s unique needs.

Other interests
I love traveling! I am planning to go to Croatia next year with my SLP grad school besties. I also really enjoy working out (big fan of OrangeTheory) and reading all different kinds of books. Living in Nashville, I have an overwhelming amount of restaurants, so I am always looking to try new food and drinks!
