Jordan Palumbo

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 12 insurance plans

Hi, I’m Jordan! I became a speech-language pathologist because I’m passionate about supporting individuals and meeting them where they are in life. I was drawn to speech therapy because it combines my interest in healthcare with the opportunity to build meaningful, lasting relationships with clients and families.

I’ve worked in a variety of pediatric settings, including mobile and in-clinic private practice and hybrid teletherapy models, supporting children with diverse communication needs. Along the way, I’ve continued to expand my clinical knowledge through specialized training in areas such as pediatric dysphagia and Gestalt Language Processing (GLP).

I’m especially passionate about helping families better understand communication development and the connection between communication, behavior, and sensory needs. I’ve provided state-certified trainings for daycare teachers and collaborated with colleagues through presentations and educational workshops focused on evidence-based practices.

My therapy approach is client-centered, functional, and highly individualized. I incorporate sensory-informed strategies and tailor sessions to each child’s strengths, needs, and goals to create meaningful progress in everyday life.

Other interests

I love traveling! I am planning to go to Croatia next year with my SLP grad school besties. I also really enjoy working out (big fan of OrangeTheory) and reading all different kinds of books. Living in Nashville, I have an overwhelming amount of restaurants, so I am always looking to try new food and drinks!
