Jenny Michelsen

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Hi! I’m Jenny. I became a speech-language pathologist because I wanted to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. As a child, I struggled to express myself and often felt frustrated when I couldn’t communicate my thoughts and needs. Those experiences inspired me to help other children find their voices and avoid the same frustration I once felt.

Throughout my career, I’ve continued to expand my knowledge through ongoing professional development, including PECS training and the Social Thinking Curriculum by Michelle Garcia Winner, among other continuing education courses. My clinical experience spans the clinic and school-based settings.

I approach therapy with a client-centered and highly individualized style while incorporating routines-based practices to support meaningful carryover.
